Journal Skin January
Journal Skin January is a challenge brought to you by bradleysays which involves the creation of journal skins.
The idea is to create a journal skin or gallery skin for every week in January. You will be given a generous amount of prompts to work with - these will include both words and deviations.
This means that participants are required to submit four skins in the month of January to successfully complete this challenge.
Why?
What prompted this challenge? Probably the lack of activity seen in the journal and gallery skinning community lately. It is a sad fact that most of 2013 was quiet compared to previous years. I want to start 2014 off with a bang.
The Timeline
December 9th: Prompts released. Participants will be able to start making their journal skins from this moment.
January 1st - 7th: Participants release their first journal skin.
January 8th - 14th: Participants release their second journal skin.
January 15th - 21st: Participants release their third journal skin.
January 22nd - 28th: Participants release their fourth journal skin.
January 29th - 31st: Participants release their bonus journal skin. (optional)
January 31st: Round-up of all journal skins created for this challenge.
Prizes
As this is just a challenge, the prizes won't be that big. But I can assure you there are some nice prizes to go around.
