Each month DeviantArt-related will roll out a monthly summary with features, interviews, contest details and updates concerning the deviantART related category here on dA. We run independently of any official dA representative and serve only to expand knowledge and open up the deviantART Related category. You may feel free to suggest something related to that category for feature, or an artist you feel represents something in that category well. All suggestions can be noted to bradleysays or DeviantArt-related.
The winner of the deviantART Poll BirthdAy Game (which was co-hosted by us!) was announced earlier this month.
We have slightly changed our submission policy.

Question of the Month
Q. What is your favourite dA feature and why?
Response by KaizokuShojo:
"Favourite dA feature...ah... DeviantART has so many great features that it's hard to decide! I think possibly the fact that we can re-arrange our galleries and have gallery folders. It makes showcasing one's art much easier and more attractive, not to mention easier to navigate for outsiders. "
Response by Dezenerate:
"Webcam. Think about it. It's an amazing little widget with so many purposes. You can use it to share something funny, or perhaps use it as another box for your artwork. It can even be use to hold an image of importance, such as contests, rules, and such. And the best thing? It's avalaible to every, single, deviant.. That's what makes it so great."
Response by SanguineEpitaph
"I think I like custom boxes the most.
Or dAmn and groups. D:
Or the PM.
Custom boxes let you create and represent yourself in a bajillion ways. "
Response by AEnigmaDragon:
"My favourite feature?
Groups!
The Group feature is, in my opinion, one of the best things that ever happened to deviantART. houndrets and thousands of deviants with the same interests come together in one group and find everything they need.
Deviants with the same style of art, deviants with the same interests, deviants which fit together.
They all meet at one place where they find new friends, get interesting and important informations and see houndrets of breathtaking and beutiful deviations. All of them in styles they may find interesting to see or they can learn from, with content that may inspire them to create new art or literature (which is art too) and all these deviants learn to know new artists and galleries which will stay in their minds for years.
And it happens everyday, every hour, in every second since the groups feature went online, thousands and hundred-thousands of times!
It is the feature that brings most artists together, the feature that informs them about things they find interesting and it's the feature that grows and gets better everyday!
Groups have made deviantART a better place!
That's why the groups feature is my absolute favorite and will ever be!
"In times in which everything went good and people thought it couldn't be better they were proved wrong.. with Groups!" ~ Æ"
The winning response is by trezoid:
"Page views. I mean, How else am I supposed to show random strangers how much cooler than them I am on the internet? My whole measure of self worth is based on an inaccurate number on a website!
But seriously (What, that wasn't serious? I don't actually give a damn about page views, or any other measure of how much people view my work (I'm looking at you, llama badges)? BLASPHEMY!), my favorite feature would have to be dAmn, and specifically the chats (Yeah, forums come under dAmn, but I never use them ).
I'm something of an instant group chat (dAmn and IRC, mainly) addict, purely because of the ability to interact with people I'd never otherwise meet in a level instant situation is possibly the single biggest "Thing that is awesome" about the modern internet."
